CISA Proposes Sector-Specific Cybersecurity Analysts to Strengthen ISAC Partnerships

A proposal has been presented regarding the operational structure of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), suggesting that the agency should adopt a more specialized approach to sector support to improve organizational stability.

The recommendation advocates for the designation of cybersecurity analysts to support specific critical infrastructure sectors, rather than utilizing a generalized agency-wide model.

ISACs serve as critical hubs for the sharing of both cyber and physical threat information, as well as mitigation strategies, between industry participants and government entities.
