Birmingham’s weekend entertainment calendar is packed with diverse cultural offerings, highlighted by the annual Earthbound Earthfest concert at Avondale Brewing Company and the three-day Magic City Art Connection festival at Sloss Furnaces.
Earthbound will perform their highly-anticipated annual outdoor concert, Earthbound’s Earthfest, on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Avondale Brewing Company located at 201 41st Street S in Birmingham, Alabama. The family-friendly event is open to all ages, with attendees under 21 required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The concert’s purpose is to raise awareness for Earth Day and generate funds for the Black Warrior Riverkeeper organization through a suggested $5 donation. Throughout the event, Earthbound will perform several sets complemented by exhibits from local artists. Running concurrently from April 24 through April 26, the Magic City Art Connection takes over Sloss Furnaces under the main casting shed. Now in its continued run as one of Birmingham’s most iconic events, the festival features hundreds of artists displaying and selling their creations, along with special exhibits, screenings, performances, and local food offerings.
The Magic City Art Connection operates on the following schedule: Friday, April 24 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM; Saturday, April 25 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM; and Sunday, April 26 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Admission is priced at $15 per day for attendees of all ages.
