Bangkok Post reports that a couple of daughters fled in Thailand after leaving their elderly father, who was infected with Corona, at a temple.
According to reports, on the 25th, two men and women brought an 80-year-old man to a temple in Nakhon Ratchasima, northeastern Thailand, and said that their father knew the monks of the temple and wanted to stay with them.
Two days after coming to the temple, the old man was lying on the road near the temple and was being hit by the rain, and was found by a nearby hospital employee. This employee posted the image of the old man on social media.
The elderly person who was taken to the hospital was confirmed to have COVID-19 in a diagnostic test, and has since been transferred back to his hometown Khon Kaen State Hospital for treatment.
The monks and hospital staff at the temple were classified as close contacts and were quarantined for 14 days.
The head of the village, where the old man was first spotted, accused his daughter of not treating his father that way and of putting others at risk of contracting the virus through irresponsible behavior, the Bangkok Post reported.
