One day after ‘Putin’s order to send 300,000 reserve troops’ was announced, Russia began military conscription from all parts of the country.
Contrary to the original announcement, warrants were issued for college students as well as those without military service experience.

These are men who have received a conscription warrant according to the mobilization order.
Those who have to send their loved ones or family to the battlefield are rarely let go.
Contrary to the announcement of the Russian government, university students also received a conscription warrant.
Authorities issued a conscription warrant in the morning and gave instructions to get on the enlistment bus by 3pm.
[드미트리 / 대학생 : 오늘 갈 줄은 몰랐어요. 오전까지는 아무도 말해주지 않았어요. 징집 영장에 오후 3시까지 나오라고 돼 있었는데 나와서 1시간 반을 기다리니까 징집관이 곧 출발한다고 했어요.]
There are some people who try their best to relax, but there are tears everywhere.
Parents who had to send their son away in a few hours without a proper explanation resented the authorities.
[징집 청년 드미트리의 아버지 : 반대죠. 푸틴 대통령이 포고령에 학생은 징집하지 않는다고 해놓고 하고 있어요. 설명도 없이요. 이건 옳지 않아요.]
Among the men who received the warrant were those who were not reservists and had no military experience whatsoever.
Young people with expertise in specific areas, such as IT or medical care, seem to be the first to be conscripted.
