Israelis and Palestinians clash during an event commemorating the Israeli occupation of East Jerusalem.
On the 29th local time on the occasion of ‘Jerusalem Day’ to commemorate the occupation of East Jerusalem, foreign media reported that tens of thousands of Israelis held their flags and marched through the Old City of Jerusalem.
Some Israeli hardliners sprayed and violence as they entered areas dominated by Palestinians, who also responded by throwing chairs and glass bottles.
The clash also took place in Sheikh Zara near East Jerusalem, and it is said that about 20 people were injured in the clash in Jerusalem.
