The Ukrainian side said it plans to return to negotiations by the end of August, amid a deadlock in peace talks between Ukraine and Russia.
However, as time goes by, there are many analyzes that the war situation will turn in favor of the Russian side, so it is unclear whether the negotiations will be successful.

“Ukraine plans to return to peace negotiations by the end of August after counterattacking Russia.”
David Aracamia, the Ukrainian peace negotiator, said in a broadcast on the 18th local time.
It said that Ukraine would take a negotiating advantage by counterattacking in various regions, but did not mention a specific counterattack operation.
Peace negotiations have continued until the 5th round, but the two sides are fighting sharply over the territory of the eastern Donbas region and have not been able to find a point of contact.
However, it is observed that it is becoming more advantageous for Russia, which has more power than Ukraine.

The leaders of the four EU countries, including France and Germany, have visited Ukraine in a blitz to add strength.
President Volodymyr Zelensky also visited the affected areas to encourage soldiers and boost morale.
This month, we are expanding our activities outside of the capital Kiiu by visiting the main front lines of Donbas in the east and Zaporiza in the south.

However, Russia is clearly determined to forcibly annex part of Ukraine’s territory.
Since Ukraine is in the position that it cannot yield its territory, negotiations are not likely to be easy.
