A man in his 30s who stalked his ex-girlfriend for two months and even used a knife to recognize the victim has been arrested by the police.

As a result of a report by the Kyunghyang Shinmun on the 23rd, the Seoul Guro Police Station arrested a 30-year-old man A on charges of breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s house in Guro-gu at around 2:17am that day. and injuring his acquaintance (specific injury, trespassing, etc.) is in progress

Person A has also been accused of repeatedly visiting her ex-girlfriend’s home for the past two months after being informed of the breach and attempting to contact her using a restricted number (breach of the Stalking Penalty Act).

As a result of the police investigation, it was found that Mr. A broke into Mr A’s house at around 1:30am that day and took the knife in the kitchen. Afterwards, when B and his acquaintance C entered the house together, they pointed a weapon at C. C was wounded by cutting his hand with a knife. Person A was drunk at the time of the offence.

A police officer said, “After investigating the specific crime, we will decide whether to apply for an arrest warrant for A.”
