Today (18th) around 7:20 pm, a fatal accident occurred on the tracks of Suwon Station on subway line 1 in the metropolitan area.
In order to deal with the accident, the operation of subway line 1 in the metropolitan area that goes to Kwangwoon University Station was temporarily suspended.
Korea Railroad Corporation took measures to transfer passengers to the next train which arrived five minutes later.
The police and fire authorities explained that the body was severely damaged and that they were investigating the exact identity of the victim and the circumstances of the accident.
