Prosecutors investigating the allegation of preferential treatment for development in Daejang-dong are expected to request an arrest warrant for Kim Man-bae, a major shareholder of Hwacheon Daeyu, and Nam-wook, a lawyer this week.
Prosecutors are concentrating on consolidating last-minute charges, such as re-summoning former Seongnam Urban Development Corporation president Hwang Moo-seong.

Prosecutors called Hwang Moo-seong, former president of Seongnam Urban Development Corporation, again after a week.
When asked whether Yuhan-ki, the then head of the development division, recommended resignation by referring to the fraud trial, former president Hwang countered that it was an allegation intended to undermine credibility, saying that even his wife did not know about the trial at the time.
He took a step back from the existing position that there was no ‘fixed 182.2 billion won’ in the Daejang-dong project open offer guidelines that he had paid for, and explained that it was the amount related to the condition that the rental housing complex in the guidelines could be settled in cash.
Prosecutors are known to have investigated Hwang, the former president of the company, and how the clause on the return of excess profits was omitted from the Daejang-dong business plan.
Reports of abuse of power, including pressure from superiors to resign, were also distributed last week, so it is said that external pressure from the mayor of Seongnam at the time of Lee Jae-myung was also included in the investigation.
Lawyer Jeong Mo, who was the head of the investment business team at Seongnam Urban Development Corporation, was also summoned to the prosecution again.
Attorney Jung joined the corporation through the introduction of Attorney Nam Wook, who is the real owner of No. 4 in Cheonhwa-dong, and has been deeply involved in the Daejang-dong business from the beginning.
There are also suspicions that Yuwon Holdings, a real estate development company, and Yuwon Holdings, a real estate development company, was used for money laundering purposes with former general manager Yoo Dong-gyu.
The prosecution seems to have intensively investigated the contents of the Daejang-dong project, which was reported directly to Seongnam Mayor at the time of Lee Jae-myung in 2015, and whether there was any related to the recovery of excess profits.
It has been over a month since the Daejang-dong investigation team was launched, but among the key figures, only the former head of the department, Yoo Dong-gyu, has been handed over to trial.
It is expected that the request for an arrest warrant for Kim Man-bae and Nam-wook, who are included in the so-called ‘Daejang-dong Four,’ will be a major turning point in the investigation into the Daejang-dong allegation.
