The number of new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and the number of patients with severe symptoms again hit an all-time high.
According to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC), as of 00:00 on the 4th, the number of new confirmed cases in Korea stood at 5352. The cumulative number of confirmed cases was 467,907.
This is the highest record since the first confirmed case of COVID-19 in Korea in February. It surpassed the previous record of 5,265 on the 2nd, and 1,285 more than the 4,067 confirmed cases last Friday (Saturday, the 27th as of the announcement date).
