Eunhee Ji, the oldest Korean player on the LPGA Tour, won the ‘Bank of Hope Match Play’
Eunhee Ji, 36, won the championship by three-hole win over Ayaka Furue of Japan in the final in Las Vegas, USA, breaking the record for the oldest Korean win on the LPGA Tour.
The previous record for the oldest Korean player was 32 years and 8 months, set by Park Hee-young in 2020.
Eunhee Ji’s LPGA win is the first in three years and four months since the Diamond Resorts Champions Tournament in January 2019, and her sixth win on the tour.
With this win, Ji Eun-hee also got the last remaining ticket for the ‘US Women’s Open’ this week’s major tournament.
