In the parking lot on the 5th floor of a large supermarket in Busan, a taxi pierced a wall and fell onto the road. A taxi driver was killed and seven people were injured.

Today (30th), an official from the Yeonje Police Station in Busan said in a call with JTBC, “At about 12:30 in the afternoon at the parking lot on the 5th floor of Homeplus, Yeonje-gu, Busan, a taxi pierced the outer wall of the building and crashed down the road.” The taxi driver who was there died.”

“14 vehicles, including 8 on the road and 6 parked vehicles, were destroyed, and 7 people were injured,” he said.

The injured are being taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, police said.

The police will investigate the exact cause of the accident and the extent of damage as soon as lifesaving at the scene of the accident is completed.
