Second day in the UK!

Following the welcome dinner hosted by King Charles III the day before, President Yun Seok-yeol and his wife, Yoon Seok-yeol, went to Westminster Abbey, the late Directorate of Queen Elizabeth II of England, which drew the attention of all around the world.

A total of about 2,000 people attended the ceremony, including heads of state from several major countries, including US President Joe Biden, Emperor Naruhito, King Philip VI of Spain, and French President Macron.

President Yoon also wrote a condolence log, which was delayed due to local traffic conditions.

Expressing deep sympathy, he includes the content that it is an honor to be able to share a contemporary with the Queen who worked hard to defend freedom and peace.

Likewise, due to local traffic issues, the schedule for the Korean War Veterans Memorial was not completed, but instead,

He also met Victor Swift, who is president of the Korean War Veterans Association, and presented him with the National Medal.

President Yoon completed his 5 night and 7 day trip to the UK, USA and Canada, the first country he visited, the UK!

Now, we have a speech at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, United States, and the schedule for the Korea-US-Korea-Japan summit.

I met President Biden at a welcome dinner the day before and greeted them warmly and promised to meet at the United Nations General Assembly.

Japanese media reports that the talks have never been coordinated, and they are fighting a war of nerves with South Korea until the end.

In this regard, the President’s Office refrained from expressing its position and did not reserve any comments.

President Yoon, who completed ‘condolence diplomacy’ by expressing sympathy for the deceased and meeting naturally with the leaders of all countries!

Once again, I took the first flight and went to New York, USA for the United Nations General Assembly and bilateral talks, which was the highlight of this trip.
