[정치][현장영상] Kim Ki-hyun’s emergency press conference… “The Media Arbitration Act is nothing like a wolf in sheep’s clothing”

As the Democratic Party of Korea announces that issues such as the Media Arbitration Act will be enforced at this week’s plenary session, war is falling on the political scene.

Kim Ki-hyun, floor leader of the People’s Power, is holding an emergency press conference at the National Assembly right now, condemning the Democratic Party’s runaway legislation.

Let’s go to the site.

Fellow Koreans and journalists, the legislative rampage and self-righteousness of the ruling party is reaching its climax.

Bicycles require two wheels to roll together to function properly and go in the right direction.

But now, the ruling party is doing dangerous acrobatic driving alone without the wheels of the opposition party.

At the end of the regime, they trampled on the values that must be respected, such as the people’s right to know, the freedom of the press stipulated in the Constitution, and the observance of basic values as a member of the free and democratic camp of the international community. is dedicated to maintaining the power of

When the Blue House and the Democratic Party take over the prosecution, the police, the courts, the Constitutional Court, the National Assembly, and finally the press, the final puzzle to a dictatorship is completed.

So it is a very serious and serious problem.

First of all, let me tell you about the gagging technique related to the press.

In a liberal democracy, freedom of the press and freedom of expression are the most basic values guaranteed by the Constitution.

However, if the media bridging technique is passed, only reports that suit the taste of power will circulate, and the people’s right to know will be fundamentally violated.

The Media Arbitration Act is nothing like a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

The ruling party seemingly wants to get rid of fake news, but in reality, it is going to nail the media.

This is because reports that are unfavorable to those in power will recklessly insist that it is fake news, and if they do, they will make a law so that they can prevail.

Even after being convicted by the law, Mr. Cho Kuk continues to pretend to be a victim while cosplaying and claiming that it is fake news.

That’s why there’s a saying called the Law to Protect the Fatherland.

Under the Moon Jae-in administration, the source of fake news was not the media, but rather the Blue House.

As for the vaccine issue, it was the Blue House that actually spread fake news and false information.

The same goes for housing issues.

Even so, instead of reflecting on themselves, they want to prevent them from criticizing them for their mistakes.

The proverb that a fart gets angry is a perfect fit for this situation.

I wonder if the World Newspaper Association, the International Journalists Association, and the Seoul Foreign Correspondents Club Board of Directors have even expressed their concerns about the loss of freedom of the press in Korea.

It cannot but be an act of historical treason that makes the national image and free press environment that the Republic of Korea has worked so hard to build up into an international ridicule.

Since it is full of unconstitutional provisions, it is obvious that if a constitutional complaint is brought, it will be null and void.

Let me tell you about its unconstitutionality.

Punitive damages are not generally recognized in our legal system.
