Vice President Hugo Swat said, “The roadmap of Korean telecommunication companies such as SK Telecom, Metaverse Solution (EFriend), and Glass (cooperation with Unreal), which combines smartphones from LG U+, are also actively unfolding.” When Qualcomm unveiled its first XR2 in 2019, SK Telecom announced a picture of Oculus Go, KT sold Pico, and LG U+ collaborated with Unreal. Korea’s XR trend is dominated by telecommunication companies, and this phenomenon is expected to continue for the time being.
