Yes, as typhoon Nanmadol moved north, a typhoon warning came into force in parts of Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk.

Because of this, the central government said that at 11 o’clock last night, 37 households and 53 people were temporarily evacuated from the Busan and Gyeongnam areas.

Residents are also being evacuated from Pohang and Gyeongju, which were previously hit by typhoon Hinnamno.

This morning, due to the typhoon, train services on some sections are also suspended or modified.

KORAIL announced that the operation of 34 general trains, including Mugunghwa, will be suspended or modified from 9 am to 12 am today.

KTX and Donghae Line electric trains will be flexibly adjusted according to the path and impact of typhoons.

Access to some national parks and ferry operations have been restricted, and flights have been cancelled.

The central government said access to 91 national parks is controlled, including Mt. Hallasan, Dadohae, Hallyeohaesang, and Gyeongju.

12 passenger ships on 9 routes, including between Samcheonpo in Gyeongsangnam-do and Jeju and Wando in Jeollanam-do, were stopped.

Also, 12 domestic flights, including flights between Jeju and Gimhae, were also cancelled.

The central government said it would support local governments’ situation management until the typhoon passes by sending on-site situation management officers to seven cities and provinces including Busan, Ulsan, and Gangwon.

In addition, it was announced that the second phase of the emergency duty, which was announced at noon yesterday, can be upgraded while monitoring the typhoon situation.
