On this day, National Security Bureau Director Kim Seong-han announced that President Yoon would hold summit talks with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Ruther on the 17th and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez on the 18th at the Yongsan Presidential Office.
As for the agenda for the summit, a senior Security Office official said, “It hasn’t been decided.” However, he predicted that “the Netherlands is a country that is in charge of one axis of the global supply chain in relation to semiconductors,” and that “discussions related to it will be able to proceed quite intensively. ”
Earlier, on the 6th, President Yoon had a summit meeting with Prime Minister Rutte in Madrid, Spain, where he visited to attend the NATO summit, and agreed to strengthen cooperation related to nuclear power plants and semiconductors. More detailed discussions are expected to take place at this second summit.
