The personal information of some domestic customers who purchased cosmetics from the French luxury brand Chanel was leaked.
Chanel Korea posted an apology on its website on the 5th, saying that the database that stores personal information of cosmetics membership customers was hacked and some customer information was leaked.
The leaked personal information is name, phone number, date of birth, and cosmetic purchase history.
However, Chanel Korea said that the credit card, payment information, customer ID, and password were not leaked, and that the damage was notified to the victim by email or text message.
