[경제]During the first quarter of this year, apartment rents in Seoul fell by 67%.

Statistics show that two-thirds of apartment charter transactions in Seoul in the first quarter of this year were contracted at lower prices than in the fourth quarter of last year.

It is evaluated that the change in demand for jeonse to monthly rent due to the increase in loan interest rates has had an effect.

It is an apartment with a size of 1,100 units in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

In September last year, the lease for a unique area of ​​84㎡ won 1.36 billion, but in February this year, the same area was contracted for more than 400 million won.

An apartment in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul is in a similar situation.

The charter deposit price, which rose to 600 million won a year ago based on a unique 84㎡, is now the top half of 300 million won.

During the first quarter of this year, 32.7% of the transactions in which the deposit was raised or held were 32.7% of the net jeonse transactions for apartments in Seoul, excluding monthly rent with a guarantee.

67.3% of contracts were signed with lower deposits than in the fourth quarter last year.
