The ‘Luna Incident’, whose value fell 99.99% in just a few days, shows the problems of the virtual asset market.
Developers and investors dreaming of a jackpot, exchanges that are busy collecting fees, and even the government that virtually leaves the virtual asset market alone because it is not in the institutional jurisdiction.
Not everyone is free from responsibility for this situation.

It is an internet community dealing with virtual assets.
I got a loan of 700 million won using my parents’ apartment as collateral and invested it in Luna, but now I see an article saying that it is 70,000 won.
Bulletin boards are full of similar posts.
A YouTuber even showed the process of losing 30 million won of Luna’s investment in an instant.

The usual arrogant behavior of Luna developer, CEO Kwon Do-hyung, increased the anger of investors.

Virtual asset exchanges cannot escape responsibility.
It is pointed out that the most important verification was neglected while using the coin listing as a way to make money.
In fact, Dunamu, the operator of Upbit, the largest exchange in Korea, has invested over 100 billion won in Luna.
However, when there was a problem with Luna recently, it stopped deposits and withdrawals later than other exchanges, which drew the resentment of investors.

The biggest problem with the virtual asset market is that it is in a regulatory blind spot.
Although there are 12 million investors in Korea alone, there is no need for monitoring or supervision because the government does not recognize it as a system.
