In Maine, USA, there is a 101-year-old grandmother fisherman who catches lobsters and lobsters.

My grandmother, who has been doing this for 94 years since she was 8, says she has no intention of quitting lobster fishing.

Correspondent Kim Tae-hyun introduces it.

Off the coast of Rockland, Maine, in the northeastern United States.

Before dawn, a 101-year-old Virginia grandmother and her 78-year-old son, Max, sail out to sea in a boat.

Throw 200 fishing nets to catch lobster lobsters, then secure and skillfully sort them so they don’t play with their claws.

My grandmother has been doing the same thing every day since she was 8.

Grandmother says that she will not stop doing this hard work that she has been doing for 94 years with her deceased husband and now with her son.

My grandmother is the oldest lobster artisan in the United States as well as in the world.

There were no women catching lobsters in the 1920s, when I first started this business under the influence of my father, a lobster merchant.

Grandma enjoys being a fisherman, which has become her life’s work.

A few years ago, I broke my right wrist and bit my hand by a lobster, which caused major injuries, but it’s not a big deal.

Today, grandmother Virginia rides a boat engraved with her name and heads to the sea with her trusty son.
