[국제]Germany’s daily confirmed 75,000 cases, the highest ever… Over 100,000 deaths

Germany’s cumulative death toll from COVID-19 surpassed 100,000 on the 25th local time, and the number of new daily confirmed cases also exceeded 70,000 for the first time.

According to Reuters, the German Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Robert Koch Institute, said on the same day that there were 75,961 new confirmed cases in the last 24 hours.

This is the most since the outbreak of COVID-19 in Germany.

There were also 351 deaths from COVID-19, bringing the cumulative death toll to 100,000, surpassing 100,000.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said at a press conference in Berlin that “this is a very sad day to mourn for the 100,000 COVID-19 victims”.

Chancellor Merkel, who will lead her cabinet temporarily until the new coalition government takes office next month, has urged her successor coalition leaders to quickly take further steps to limit contact and social distancing.
