[국제]Midnight tornado in Mississippi kills 23, damages power outages in 3 states

Powerful tornadoes and tornadoes hit Mississippi in the middle of the night, killing at least 23 people and causing power outages in three states.

Large stones the size of golf balls also rained down, creating hailstones that almost wiped out rural villages.

Tornadoes that hit Mississippi the night before were powerful enough to reach speeds of up to 128 kilometers per hour.

Hailstones also reduced the size of golf balls.

The tornado blew debris up to 5 miles (9 km) into the air.

The number of human casualties is also increasing.

Power outages also occurred, leaving more than 65,000 homes without power in Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee.

This tornado happened in the middle of the night causing great damage.

Experts explained that the supercell storm, which produced tornadoes and hail, destroyed the southeastern United States.

President Biden issued a statement and comforted the families of the dead and missing, saying that the image of the Mississippi area is heartbreaking.
