The Taliban government, which has taken over Afghanistan, has banned women from appearing in TV dramas.
The Taliban government has also banned the airing of foreign TV dramas featuring women, television appearances by female journalists without headdresses and the airing of comedy programs insulting the Islamic religion, the BBC reported.
The Taliban, which took over the Afghan regime in August, have banned girls from attending school.
