[기상센터][날씨] Rainy season subsides, sweltering heat rises again… Seoul again heat wave advisory

Today, instead of the rainy season, the sweltering heat will prevail.

As a result, heat wave warnings have been expanded and strengthened for most of the country.

The midday temperature in Seoul today will rise to 31 degrees, making it 8 degrees higher than yesterday.

During the weekend, the momentum of the heat will intensify and the steamy heat of around 35 degrees will come.

Please drink plenty of water to avoid losing health in the heat.

Currently, the inland monsoon rain is in a calm state, with only a few clouds passing in the sky.

However, from the afternoon onwards, 5 to 60 mm of showers will pass inland across the country due to atmospheric instability.

There will be a large variation in precipitation between regions, and it will fall loudly with thunder and gusts of wind.

The sweltering heat will rise again while the monsoon rains will subside for a while.

A heat wave warning is being issued for the Gyeongbuk area and a heat wave warning for other areas such as Seoul,

Today, the daytime temperature in Seoul will rise to 31 degrees, Gwangju 33 degrees, and Daegu 35 degrees.

During the weekend, the temperature will rise higher than today, and tropical nights and sweltering heat will continue.

Tomorrow is expected to be 34 degrees in Seoul and 36 degrees in Daegu, and this heat will continue until the day after tomorrow.

Heavy rain is expected across the country again from next week.

Localized heavy rain is expected this time from the southern provinces.

In particular, the weather next week is likely to be affected by the ‘Tropical Depression’ and the third typhoon ‘Chaba’, which are moving north from the southeast of Okinawa, Japan.

First of all, there is a possibility that the tropical depression will develop into a typhoon as it moves north and will affect Jeju Island and the southern regions early next week.

Typhoon Chaba, landing in China, is likely to further strengthen the rainy season front by supplying a large amount of water vapor in the second half of next week after it dissipates on the southern coast of China.

Next week’s weather will be very variable, so please pay attention to the weather information released in the future.

The monsoon rain has entered a lulled state, but from the afternoon, loud showers will pass throughout the inland.

It has already rained a lot and the ground is weakening,

Please thoroughly inspect the surrounding area to avoid additional rain damage.
