On Wednesday, the 22nd, the last day of the Chuseok holiday, it will rain with gusts of wind and thunder and lightning in the central region.

From the night before this day, up to 60 mm of rain is expected in the metropolitan area, Chungcheong area, Jeonbuk and Yeongseo, Gangwon.

The Korea Meteorological Administration forecast on the 21st that the atmosphere will become unstable as cold air flows into Korea due to the northeast movement of low pressure located in northeastern China on the 22nd.

Accordingly, by the morning of the 22nd, a gust of wind speed of 55 km/h or more will blow in the metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungcheongbuk-do, and Jeollabuk-do, and strong rain of around 30 mm per hour accompanied by thunder and lightning will fall.

The expected precipitation for these areas on the 21st and 22nd is 10 to 60 mm. On the 22nd, the estimated precipitation in Jeollanam-do, Gyeongbuk inland, and Gyeongsangbuk-do inland is 5-40 mm.

Locally, showers are expected to develop, and strong rain of 20 to 30 mm per hour is expected, especially in the inland areas during the daytime.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said, “As gusts of wind, thunder and lightning are expected, you must be careful about safety accidents while climbing the graves.”

It will be mostly cloudy nationwide, but it will be mostly cloudy in the afternoon, and the southern part will become clear from night.

The lowest temperature in the morning is expected to be 17-22 degrees, and the highest temperature during the day is expected to be 23-29 degrees.

The expected morning minimum temperature for each region is △Seoul 19ºC △Incheon 21º △Gangneung 21º △Chuncheon 19º △Daejeon 20º △Daegu 18º △Busan 20º △Jeonju 20º △ Gwangju 20º △Jeju 23ºC.

The highest daytime temperature is △Seoul 24ºC △Incheon 24º △Gangneung 28º △Chuncheon 24º △Daejeon 26º △Daegu 29º △Busan 28º △Jeonju 28º △Gwangju 28º △Jeju 29ºC.

The fine dust concentration will be recorded as ‘good’ in all areas due to the influence of precipitation.
