The prosecution’s investigation into the former government is also accelerating.

Prosecutors also arrested former Defense Minister Seo Wook today in connection with allegations that the Moon Jae-in administration drove a public official who was struck in the West Sea to go to North Korea voluntarily.

It has been confirmed that the arrest warrant for Seo, requested by the prosecution, states that “Former National Security Bureau Director Suh Hoon and former National Security Bureau Chief Deputy Prime Minister Suh Joo-seok are accomplices. ”

In fact, the Blue House identified key security figures as the target of the next investigation.

In 2020, the prosecution, which has been investigating the process of announcing that a public official attacked in the West Sea is presumed to have voluntarily fled North Korea, arrested former Defense Minister Seo Wook.

This is the first time a ministerial-level person has been arrested in a simultaneous investigation targeting the previous administration since the Yun Seok-yeol government was established.

Former minister Suh is accused of directing the Ministry of National Defense to delete wiretapping information from the military intelligence network ‘Mims’ and of directing the creation of false reports by the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Former Minister Seo countered that “they only restrict the right to read information that contains sensitive words such as burn, but the original text of the spy is still there.”

It was confirmed that the arrest warrant for the former minister said they were “in collusion with former Director of the National Security Bureau Suh Hoon and former First Deputy Director of the National Security Bureau Suh Joo-seok.”

Prosecutors have identified key members of Moon Jae-in’s White House security line as de facto suspected criminals.

The location of the conspiracy to commit the crime was the Blue House.

At that time, after North Korea’s military wiretapping information was gathered, they conspired to commit the crime in two meetings held in the Blue House led by the National Security Office.

Prosecutors also arrested Kim Hong-hee, the former head of the Coast Guard, on charges of hastily publishing the results of an interim investigation to determine a voluntary default for North Korea.

Four months after the investigation began, all the arrest warrants requested were issued, further speeding up the investigation.

Park Ji-won, the former head of the National Intelligence Service, is also suspected of erasing data.

And former Deputy General Manager Seo Joo-seok and Office Manager Seo Hoon, who were listed as assistants, are expected to be next.

Blue House officials in Moon Jae-in’s government have refuted, saying, “The time to analyze raw wiretapping information is defined as ‘secret’.

However, the prosecution is also open to the possibility of investigating former President Moon Jae-in, the highest decision-maker who would have received the report of former Chief of Staff Suh Hoon.
