Kim Seung-hyeon (43), a former basketball player, divorced actor Han Jeong-won (34) after consultation.
On the 10th, Kim Seung-hyun made a phone call with Maeil Business Star Today and said, “It is true that I divorced Han Jung-won recently.” Kim Seung-hyun and Han Jeong-won met through an acquaintance in 2017 and got married in May of the following year after a year of dating, but they broke up after 3 years.
Kim Seung-hyun did not talk about the reason for the divorce as the couple ended their relationship amicably through a divorce by agreement.
However, Kim Seung-hyun added, “I’m sorry for causing concern,” and “I will greet you with a good job.”
Kim Seung-hyeon, a basketball star with excellent technique, played an active part in the Orions and Samsung Thunders as the team’s main guard and as a national team member. At the 2002 Asian Games in Busan, considered a famous match, Korea defeated China and helped win the gold medal. After retiring from active duty in 2014, Kim Seung-hyun worked as a basketball commentator and ran a basketball academy.
Han Jeong-won, a graduate of Korea National University of Arts, debuted in the movie ‘Hwasan High School’ in 2001, and then appeared in movies ‘Miss Blush’, ‘Family Glory 5’, and dramas ‘Jamyeong High School’ and ‘The Third Hospital’.
