[단독]Breaking the Achilles tendon and gaslighting… Arresting boyfriend who is worse than a beast

A man has been arrested for committing crimes against humanity, including habitually beating a woman he had been dating for six years and cutting off his Achilles tendon with a cleaver for notifying the police of the assault.

The victim, who was found in a panic state, was found not to even dare to report it because of fear. In the end, after making a decision, it was possible to lead to a formal investigation, arrest, and arrest.

The Nowon Police Station in Seoul announced on the 27th that a 40-year-old male suspect, A, was arrested and investigated on charges of special injuries and will be sent to the prosecution soon. Prior to this, the Northern District Court issued an arrest warrant for A on the 24th.

Person A and victim B were lovers. In the fall of 2016, I got to know him as a customer of a store run by Mr. B.

A’s violence was revealed not long after they started dating. In March 2017, Mr. B struck his rib with his fist and fractured it for making a request to break up. Mr. B suffered 3 weeks of damage.

Since then, the level of violence has steadily increased. One day in January 2018, Mr. A threatened with a kitchen knife and cut off the Achilles tendon of one of Mr. B’s legs because Mr. B had reported him to the police after an argument the day before. In this case, B was diagnosed with 10 weeks of special injuries.

Person A’s violence continued until Mr. B felt like he was standing at the edge of a cliff.

On the morning of May 30th, Mr. B shouted “Please save me” from the veranda of his house. A passerby who witnessed the scene reported it to the police. On this day, A was sleeping in B’s residence. She hit her in the face several times because Mr. B found her and woke her up.

When the police arrived at the scene, A had fled. Nevertheless, Mr. B only requested safety measures, and he hesitated to report, saying, “I have no intention of punishment.” She also did not respond to the police’s request for A’s contact information. This is the part where the terrified B’s gaslighting abuse is suspected.

In the end, there was a total of 10 persuasion from the investigator in charge until he opened the mouth of Mr. B. He persistently persuaded the victim without legal knowledge, and explained the protective measures and administrative services that Mr. B could receive.

The facts that Mr. B revealed while crying were shocking. Damage from the amputation of the Achilles tendon was revealed, and additional medical records, surgical photos, and a doctor’s note were submitted.

They dated for many years, but the age and address that Mr. A gave to Mr. B were all lies. Police were able to identify accurate personal information based on cell phone numbers. To make matters worse, Mr. A was found guilty of injuring another victim and was on probation.

The police judged that the crime was ‘poor and the risk of a crime was very high’, and an arrest warrant was issued.

However, after being caught by the police after being undercover, Mr. A did not reflect until the end. He denied all accusations, and stated that Mr. B had committed self-harm by amputating the Achilles tendon.

In the end, the court issued an arrest warrant on the grounds of the seriousness of the case and the poor quality of the crime, as there was a fear of the suspect’s escape.
