[도쿄올림픽] Shin Jae-hwan wins second gold medal in Korean gymnastics… Badminton women’s doubles, Kim So-young and Gong Hee-yong bronze medal

Shin Jae-hwan, who participated in the men’s gymnastics vault final at the Tokyo Olympics, defeated Denis Ablyazin of the Russian Olympic Committee yesterday (2nd) and won the second Olympic gold medal in Korean gymnastics history.

Shin Jae-hwan was tied with Ablyazin with an average of 14.783 points, but the gold medal went to Shin Jae-hwan, who performed a technique with a high difficulty score.

This is the second gold medal in nine years since Yang Hak-seon won the first Olympic gold medal in Korean gymnastics history in the vault at the 2012 London Games.

In the women’s doubles badminton match between Korean players, Kim So-young and Gong Hee-yong defeated Lee So-hee and Shin Seung-chan to win the bronze medal.

The baseball team advanced to the semifinals by winning the 7th cold game against Israel in the second round of knockout stage at the Tokyo Olympics.

The national team will play the semi-final match against Japan tomorrow (4th) at 7 PM.
