KBS N apologized for the controversial remarks that occurred while commenting on the match of the national archery player, Ansan.
On the 28th, KBS N said, “We sincerely apologize to the national archery team and viewers for some inappropriate expressions used during the broadcast of the World Archery Championships.”
He added, “With this incident as an opportunity, we will respect the efforts of the players in the production of future programs and will do our best to meet the expectations of viewers.”
Earlier on the 27th, a petition titled “Apologize to the male casters and players at the KBS Sports Archery World Championships” was posted on the KBS Viewers’ Rights and Rights Center.
The author pointed out that the KBS N sports announcer expressed “what is this” and “worst” when Ansan and Jang Min-hee shot 7 and 8 points during the World Championship game. The author demanded, “I’m too rude to the players,” and “I apologize to the viewers who felt offended.”
