The government, which strongly recommends vaccination for children and adolescents, held an expert briefing session on the second day. Jung Eun-kyung, director of the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said, “We are well aware of parents’ anxiety and concerns, so we will do our best to ensure safe vaccination together with the education and medical circles. I will disclose it and explain it in detail.”

A professor of infectious medicine who attended the briefing said, ” The vaccine is safe, and we vaccinated our three children with the intention of making sure they can live safely wherever they go,” he explained.
