A battle of words through Facebook is intensifying between Rep. Jeong Jin-seok, a member of the 5th term of the People’s Power, and party leader Lee Jun-seok. On the 6th, Rep. Chung raised the issue of nomination innovation and blew a bitter voice at Lee, who departed for Ukraine, as a catalyst. Then, the next day, on the 7th, CEO Lee posted a rebuttal to the criticism of Rep. Chung, and the two sides fought back until the 8th. Even when the result of a landslide victory in the local election came out, these two people were not bad, sitting side by side in the party’s situation room. However, it seems that this incident will inevitably create a gloomy atmosphere. It is unknown whether there was a dissonance in the process of the struggle for power between the two sides, but it seems that the emotional trough is deep.

For the people, this conflict structure is awkward from the start. It is not a common sight to see a lawmaker Da-seon who has gone through all the troubles before birth and a party leader in his 30s, who is appealing to the so-called ‘Lee Dae-nam’ (a man in his 20s), heading into an emotional battle without making any concessions to each other. It can be said that it is a fragmentary approach to judging who is right or wrong over the past four months. Rather, it would not give the impression that there was a significant flaw if it was necessary to examine the appropriateness of the remark aimed at President Lee. Some facts may be inaccurate. If that is the case, there is no regret in that if we had only corrected the facts in that area, we would not have come to a situation where we would not have come to the point where we were in love with each other. In short, if there was a point of misunderstanding with each other, if the principle of proportionality was followed, the actual benefit could have been greater than fighting each other. In that respect, Chairman Lee’s response, such as the expression ‘the train is going’, must have felt quite uncomfortable from the perspective of Chairman Chung. And from this point on, the two of them exchanged direct workshops, and the emotional stimuli expanded. These clashes over internal party issues are of no help. To put it bluntly, it would be difficult to avoid pointing out that it is an act that is nothing more than an emotional consumption of each other.

Although the ruling party achieved overwhelming results in the branch, now is the time to approach the people with a lower attitude. Still, in the midst of a difficult political situation, such as difficulties in negotiating the original composition in the second half of the National Assembly, the conflict between the two men appears empty and loses shape.
