There are 4,068 new COVID-19 cases.
It is the second highest number of confirmed cases in history, again at 4,000 in three days.
The metropolitan area accounts for over 80% of all regional outbreaks.
In particular, 1,881 people were infected in Seoul alone.
This is the first time that there have been more than 1,800 confirmed cases in Seoul.
The detailed indicator also turned on a red light.
The number of critically ill patients increased by 17 to 634, a new record for five consecutive days.
In addition, 52 people died in one day, the highest number of deaths per day since the outbreak of Corona 19.

In addition to the plan to set the validity period of the so-called ‘prevention pass’ to 6 months so that they can receive the vaccine again, the atmosphere is also considering applying the quarantine pass to teenagers.
Also, there is talk of making the unvaccinated person bear the cost of their own treatment if they become infected with COVID-19.
