In the case of the metropolitan area, the government said it is a very urgent situation that should review the activation of the emergency plan at any time.

As cluster infections continue in various places, the number of new COVID-19 cases has risen to 4,115, a whopping 1,400 more than the previous day.
The number of confirmed cases in the 4,000 range is the first since January 20, last year, when the first case in Korea was reported.
As the weekend effect disappears on Wednesday, the number of confirmed cases was expected to increase, but concerns are growing as the spread has accelerated.
The number of patients with severe severe cases also increased by 37, recording an all-time high of 586, and the death toll also increased by 34.
