The Chinese government has allowed its citizens to travel abroad as a group from today, but South Korea was exempted.

Today, there are 5,850 new patients, 8,000 less than yesterday.
Compared to a week ago, 1,000 people fell, and more than 3,000 people fell compared to two weeks ago.
This is the lowest number in 32 weeks since June 27 last year.
There were 289 seriously ill patients, which fell to a level of 200 in 95 days, and 18 deaths.
In the midst of this, the quarantine authorities have repeatedly asked for better vaccination of the elderly.
Jung Ki-seok, head of the Corona 19 Special Response Team, said that 40% of the high-risk group lack immunity to Corona 19, but the vaccination rate for the elderly is still only 35.1%.
Director Jeong explained that the World Health Organization and WHO also recommend achieving a 100% vaccination rate for high-risk groups, and emphasized that the easiest and safest way to obtain immunity is through better vaccination.
Director Jeong explained that scientific evidence has been continuously published recently that the improved vaccine is effective in preventing various subdued infections, and the reported rate of adverse events is only 1/10 that of current vaccines. .
Of equal interest to us is the current status of cases in China, a neighboring country, and the positive rate of arrival from China is gradually stabilizing.
The positive rate of new arrivals from China, which was more than 30% at the beginning of last month, has gradually decreased since the full implementation of the PCR test, recording 1.1% yesterday.
As the quarantine situation for new arrivals from China stabilizes, there is also a possibility that stronger quarantine measures scheduled for the end of this month will be eased early.
However, it is expected that the main considerations in deciding on quarantine mitigation will be how the Chinese Lunar New Year will be affected and whether China’s quarantine statistics will be reliably and continuously disclosed.
Amidst this, the first Chinese group tour since Corona 19 started today as the Chinese government partially allowed its citizens to travel abroad.
However, despite China resuming foreign group tours, it seems that no Chinese group tourists will visit Korea for now.
This is because the Chinese government has excluded three countries from the 20 countries allowed for group travel, Korea, Japan, and the United States.
