[사회]Civic group prepares Chuseok turn for irregular workers in street struggle

A joint table was set up for irregular workers who could not go home even on Chuseok.

‘Guljam’, the home of irregular workers, said today (21st) that they had a turn with the workers at the Asiana Keio Farmhouse in front of the Seoul Employment and Labor Office and prayed for reinstatement.

In addition, we also set up awards at the Nongjangjang of the Hanwha Life Insurance branch of the insurance solicitor branch and the demonstration site of the subcontracted workers of Hanmaek Heavy Industries, and prayed together that the problem could be resolved by the Lunar New Year next year.

Earlier, Asiana Keio workers were working in front of the head office after being fired in May of last year because their management, whose management deteriorated due to COVID-19 while cleaning aircraft, demanded voluntary or unpaid leave of absence.

Hanwha Life Planner workers have been protesting for the 203rd day after forming a union in January to respond to the management’s unilateral fee cut, and then facing the risk of moving to a subsidiary.

The subcontractor workers of Hanmac Heavy Industries are demanding the subcontractor to resolve the situation when the subcontractor closes the business without paying the overdue wages.
