Chun Doo-hwan’s wife, Lee Soon-ja, visited Roh Tae-woo’s burial place and paid tribute.

Chun Doo-hwan, who is known to have deteriorated in health recently, did not appear.

First lady Lee left the scene without answering reporters’ questions about whether she was willing to apologize to the 5/18 victims.
