From 00:00 to 9pm today, the number of new corona19 confirmed nationwide was 1,407.
It is 229 fewer people than the 1,636 people counted at the same time yesterday, but 62 more people than the median count of 1,345 people a week ago.
Looking at the regions where new confirmed cases were reported, 1,111 in the metropolitan area, or 79%, and 296 in the non-metropolitan area, 21%.
Even considering that it is an interim count, the proportion of the metropolitan area is close to 80%, and it is analyzed that the spread of the metropolitan area is getting stronger.
By city and province, Seoul had 546 people, Gyeonggi 414, and Incheon 151.
Non-metropolitan areas recorded 57 people in Chungnam, 39 in Daejeon, 34 in Busan, 30 in Daegu, 29 in North Chungcheong, and 25 in Gyeongbuk.
Accordingly, as of 00:00 tomorrow, the number of new confirmed cases is expected to reach around 1,500, or at most in the mid 1,500s.
