The 2022 World Cup in Qatar, a festival for football fans around the world, has entered a fierce battle with a spectacular opening ceremony.
At the opening ceremony, Jungkook of BTS passionately performed and sang the theme song of the World Cup.

This World Cup is a tournament with many meanings.
It was recorded as the first ever World Cup to be held in the Arab region and in winter.
With a great opening ceremony, the fierce 29-day battle began.
It was a sight that every Korean who watched the opening ceremony must have felt proud of.
On the main stage of the opening ceremony of the World Cup, the official theme song of the World Cup was sung by Jungkook of BTS, a Korean singer.
Jungkook passionately sang ‘Dreamers’, the official World Cup theme song, with dozens of dancers, and also graced the stage with the popular singer from Qatar, Al Qubaish.
In the opening match that followed, hosts Qatar lost 0-2 to Ecuador.
This is the first time in the history of the 1992 World Cup that the host nation has lost their first game.
After Qatar conceded two goals in the first half, many spectators were seen leaving their seats early.
Foreign media are skeptical that the Qatari government has mobilized spectators to fill the stands.
In fact, out of Qatar’s population of 2.8 million, only 300,000 Qatari nationals are not very interested in football.
As there are 2.5 million foreign workers, there were concerns early on whether it would be possible to fill all the seats during this World Cup.

Starting today, Uruguay will keep all training sessions private, so yesterday, when the opening ceremony took place, I covered the training grounds in Uruguay.
On the contrary, the Uruguayan media gathered at the training ground of our national team today.
