[스포츠]Figure Skating Cha Jun-hwan, silver medalist at the world championships… the first male Korean player to win an award

Cha Jun-hwan, a leading figure skating star, came second at the World Championships, becoming the first male Korean athlete to win a medal.

Cha Jun-hwan received 196.39 points in the men’s free single skating at the World Championships held in Saitama, Japan, and came second with a total score of 296.03 points in the short program.

Cha Jun-hwan completed a ‘clean performance’ without a single mistake and broke his top score of 13.65 points set at last year’s Beijing Winter Olympics.

In Korea, Cha Jun-hwan and Lee Hae-in won silver medals in this competition, writing a new history of ‘male and female competition’.
