A four-year-old deer in the United States went to the hospital on his own after being involved in a car accident but eventually died.
On the 16th local time, foreign media such as CBS in the United States reported that an injured deer had entered a hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States.
According to the report, the deer entered the building through the hospital main gate, which was open at 2:15 pm on the 15th, and took the escalator up to the second floor.
It is said that the deer had blood on its mouth when it entered the hospital building.
According to the video released by the hospital, a deer hurriedly runs and slides at the entrance of the main gate. The deer rises again and jumps up the escalator through the crowd of startled people. After that, get off the second floor and run to somewhere.
Hospital staff and security personnel caught the deer and turned to the Louisiana Department of Fish and Wildlife (LDWF) for help. LDWF was immediately dispatched to the scene and transported the deer to headquarters to assess the severity of the injuries.
LDWF said, “It was confirmed that the deer was seriously injured by a car on the road before coming to the hospital.
“It appears that the deer came to the hospital after wandering near the Ward River,” a hospital official said.
He explained, “The hospital continues to treat patients without stopping. The area where the deer passed has been thoroughly disinfected.”
