A cluster of COVID-19 infections occurred at a postpartum care center in Mapo-gu, Seoul, and 14 people have been confirmed so far.
According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government, since one cookery user was confirmed on the 13th, 13 additional people including workers and their families have been tested positive so far.
Of these, six are newborns.
As a result of the epidemiological investigation, it was found that sufficient natural ventilation was difficult in the facility, and the transmission was transmitted through close contact between mothers and newborns, and workers and newborns due to the nature of the facility.
In addition, some confirmed cases were confirmed to have worked even after symptoms appeared.
