[앵커]

Untimely heavy rain fell in the eastern coast of North Gyeongsang Province, including Uljin and Pohang, leading to floods and landslides.

In particular, the Pohang area, which was severely damaged by Typhoon Hinnamno in September, was damaged again.

A truck parked next to a barn was filled with water so that the wheels were flooded.

The whole area has turned into a sea of water, and cattle trapped in water are roaming around inside.

It was drowning in the heavy rain that poured just before winter.

The isolated farmer barely escaped with the help of rescuers.

On the slope, the lost soil blocked the road.

Fallen trees are entangled with power lines, giving a dizzying sight.

Last September, Naengcheon, Ocheon-eup, Pohang suffered great damage due to typhoon Hinnamno.

Due to typhoon damage, only temporary restoration work was carried out, but this time the rain swept away the sandbags and the dam collapsed again.

The area where the temporary embankment collapsed was filled with earth and covered with vinyl as soon as possible.

An elderly woman in her 80s, whose house is low below the road, spent the night awake, worried that the house might be flooded again.

Part of the road near the small bridge that connects Route 14 also sank due to the swollen water.

Because it was not fully restored after the typhoon, it was damaged again by about 100mm of rain.

Uljin and Yeongdeok, where the daily precipitation was 146 mm and 108 mm, respectively, were counted as the most rain in observed history in November.

The damage left by the typhoon last September has not healed.

The unexpected heavy rain at the beginning of winter deepened the scars of the residents.
