Among them, there are many cases of breakthrough infection centering on nursing hospitals, so interest in booster shot inoculation speed is growing.

This is a nursing hospital in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, where a group infection occurred.
After the preemptive testing confirmed three patients and three employees, the spread of the virus has increased.
By Friday, 122 people had been infected, and the number of confirmed cases increased significantly over the weekend.
The problem is breakthrough infection.
Many of the confirmed patients have been vaccinated, and most of them have passed through infection.
At a nursing hospital in Geoje, South Gyeongsang Province, 23 people were confirmed in two days.
Of these, 16 were vaccinated, and all of them were confirmed as breakthrough infections.

In the midst of this, cases of group infection continue in daycare centers and schools.
In Dong-gu, Daegu, the virus spread from a daycare center, and 20 people were confirmed.
In Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, where a serial infection occurred in 10 middle and high schools, the number of confirmed cases increased every day, increasing the total to 36.
Non-metropolitan regions accounted for about 26% of new confirmed cases in Korea, with Gyeongnam having the highest number of three-digit cases.
