A 20-year-old man has been arrested by the police for wielding a weapon and killing a group of acquaintances because he had an argument with his girlfriend.
An accident occurred in the sea near Jawol Island, Incheon, due to a malfunction of the buoyancy device.

■ Arguing with my girlfriend”…wielding a knife at a group of acquaintances
This is a karaoke room in Wanju-gun, Jeollabuk-do.
A 19-year-old man was stabbed to death here.
The culprit was 27-year-old B, whom I knew.
Mr. B went to the karaoke room where Mr. A and others were and wielded a weapon when Mr. A’s party had an argument with his girlfriend on the phone.
A was taken to the hospital, but died, and B was arrested by the police at the scene.
The police plan to apply for an arrest warrant for Mr. B after investigating the details of the incident.
■ Coast Guard rescues 4 people from flood damage
In the southern sea of Jawol Island, Incheon, a 0.6-ton leisure boat is half submerged.
The boat’s buoyancy system suddenly broke and was submerged.
The Coast Guard responded to the report and rescued the four crew members who were drifting on the boat.
The Coast Guard said that the number of leisure boat users is increasing on holidays, and it is necessary to check the equipment before and after departure.
■ The carcass of a 1m young shark found
A dead shark was found on the shores of Chuja-myeon, Jeju-do.
There were no signs of illegal hunting as a young male shark about 1m in length.
The Coast Guard has urged people to report immediately if a shark, a protected species of marine life, gets caught in fishing nets or is found on the shore.
