The number of confirmed cases in non-metropolitan areas was 628, the highest number since the fourth pandemic.
It accounted for 37.7% of all regional outbreaks.
Due to this situation, we are recording the highest number of confirmed cases in various parts of the region.
In Chungcheongbuk-do, the highest number of confirmed cases this year was 45.
By region, the number of infected patients was particularly high in Cheongju and Chungju, with 18 in Cheongju, 15 in Chungju, and 4 in Jecheon.
Most of the confirmed cases are infections due to contact with confirmed cases in the region, but the number of confirmed cases whose route has not been confirmed also accounts for 30% of the total number of infected patients.
As the number of infected patients continues to rise, in the case of Chungju, the 4th stage of social distancing is implemented for a week.
Cho Gil-hyeong, Mayor of Chungju City, said that the number of confirmed cases in the region over the past 10 days has exceeded the level 4 standard for distancing.
Therefore, from midnight today to midnight on the 11th, social distancing for one week will be upgraded to level 4 first.

Daegu recorded the highest number of confirmed cases since March of last year.
This is the highest number since March 19, last year, at the end of the first pandemic.
Of the 75 confirmed cases, 36 are related to Taekwondo training in Nobyeon-dong, Suseong-gu, Daegu.
Infectious cases related to this have also spread to nearby cities and counties, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 55.
In Gyeongsangbuk-do, the number of confirmed cases is 48, the highest so far this year.
By region, there are 16 cases in Pohang, 9 cases in Gyeongsan, and 8 cases in Gumi, most of which are ‘nth-order infections’.
In Daejeon, 59 people tested positive.
It is the first time in 10 days since the 24th of last month that there were fewer than 60 confirmed cases in Daejeon.
On the 27th of last month, since the 4th level of social distancing was raised, a total of 585 people were infected, which is 73.1 a day.
In Jeollabuk-do, the spread of Corona 19 continues, with the scale of the group infection at the tutoring school in Buan increasing.
