In response to the discussion in the UN Security Council on the issue of North Korea’s intercontinental ballistic missile launch, the Vice Minister of the Workers’ Party of Korea Kim Yeo-jeong protested, saying that it was an obvious double standard and that he would respond with super hard line until the end.
It has been three months since last August that the discussion of Deputy Prime Kim came to light, and an analysis shows that it is building a justification for additional provocations.

North Korean Vice Minister Kim Yo-jong strongly protested the UN Security Council’s external statement discussing the launch of intercontinental ballistic missiles and ICBMs.
Vice Minister Kim protested that it was an obvious double standard for the United Nations Security Council to turn a blind eye to the military exercises between the United States and South Korea and talk about exercising their right to self-defense.
At the same time, he threatened that anyone who disagrees with the practice of self-defense will never be tolerated, and that he will take an extremely strong response to the end.
After defining this discussion as a political provocation, he insisted that we should keep in mind that the more we focus on hostility against the DPRK, the more deadly we will face a security crisis.
The discussion of Vice Minister Kim comes three months after he expressed his intention to reject the “Bold Initiative”, the denuclearization road map of the Yoon Seok-yeol government in August.
