A few pieces of tofu and a few strands of herbs.

This is a lunch from an elementary school in Gyeonggi-do.

Why do the kids who just came back from school say they’re hungry? Parents who were curious were very angry.

The school’s explanation is unusual.

The tip is MBC, reporter Kim Sang-hoon.

This is a photo of a luncheon posted on the website of an elementary school in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, on the 18th.

A plate full of homemade sweet and sour pork, mapo tofu, and soybean paste stew.

Two days later, duck mulleuk and three-colored vegetables seemed to be plentiful.

However, the children who went to school repeatedly said that they were hungry.

“I come home right after dinner. They ask me to come and make ramen every day. So why do I do that?

Even when a child said that he had skipped meals, one parent asked the child to take a picture of the meal, but in reality, it was a completely different story.

There were only a few pieces of sweet and sour pork and mapo tofu, and almost no cucumber kimchi.

On other days, a little bit of meat, a few leaves of herbs, and only three pieces of kkakdugi.

The side dishes are also side dishes, and the amount of rice and soup was completely different from the pictures on the school website.

“This is probably what the child asked for a little bit, and then I asked my child. Then they said that they gave that much when serving.”

When the photo was released, the parents burst into anger, saying, “The daycare center gives more than this,” and “I am angry that I refrained from snacking because I was afraid I would gain weight.”

He also said that the feeding seems to have continued over the past few weeks.

I went to school.

When I asked him why the amount of food was small, he suddenly brought two plates.

They said that they recently changed the plate to a larger one and the amount seemed small.

“(High school plate) compared to elementary school students, looking at the photo, it looks like a remarkably small amount.”

However, as the protests from parents continued, the school said that there were only 1,250 students in the school, but the demand for lunch was low due to the corona crisis, so only 950 people ordered.

At the same time, he promised that the quality of the meals would be improved from next month by increasing the number of orders, but he said that he would use smaller plates again.
