The differences between the ruling and the opposition parties over the parliamentary investigation by the National Assembly to determine who is responsible for the 10.29 disaster have not been narrowed.
The three opposition parties met with the Speaker of the National Assembly today urging a decision, putting pressure on the strength of the people.
However, the power of the people clings to the impossibility of accepting the government’s investigation, and instead, they went to Yongsan-gu’s office and besieged mayor Park Hee-young.

The floor leaders of the Democratic Party, the Justice Party, and the Basic Income Party visited the Speaker of the National Assembly Kim Jin-pyo.
10.29 In a situation where the power of the people continues to oppose the government’s investigation into the disaster, we met to encourage the decision of the Speaker of the National Assembly.

“Try to convince more together, and if the power of the people does not proactively participate in the government investigation and present the list of special committees until this week, I ask the chairman to make a decision…”
Saying that there is no time, he insisted that the members of the special committee to take part in the parliamentary investigation are chosen first.

“Actually, there are about 9 days left until the plenary on the 24th. In my opinion, the time for a decision is approaching, it shows a little like this.”
The three opposition parties received signatures and began to sit in front of the headquarters of the National Assembly.
However, the power of the people adhered to the unacceptable situation.
Ho-young Joo, the floor leader, met with senior lawmakers yesterday and heard the views of 63 first-time lawmakers today.
It is said that there are many opposing views.

“It is difficult for the majority of them to accept the current state affairs inquiry. It is a matter of riding water and dodging a bullet to avoid the sword tip of this investigation into party leader Lee Jae-myung…”
Instead, the people’s power visited the Yongsan-gu Office and received a report on the on-site response and test process on the day of the disaster.
Power of the People 10 members attended a special committee for the Itaewon Accident Investigation.
Park Hee-young, the head of Yongsan-gu, who was criticized by committee members, apologized in tears.

“I will participate faithfully in the investigation. I am sorry for the people. I am truly sorry.”
People’s Power said the Yongsan-gu Office confirmed that no one had visited the site before the disaster and there was a delay in sending disaster safety text messages.
However, at the meeting, it was revealed that there were no inquiries about the future of Parc y Maer.
